The monthly Shambhala Sadhana is a time to gather as a community throughout Shambhala.

In January 2011, toward the end of his year in retreat, the Kongma Sakyong composed the Shambhala Sadhana as a way to celebrate and strengthen our understanding of basic goodness and enlightened society. This remarkable practice will also serve as a way to bind the Shambhala community in kinship, vision, loyalty, and delight.

The Shambhala Sadhana is the centerpiece of monthly community gatherings on,or near, each full moon. All are welcome to attend. The emphasis is on collective group practice, gathering and celebrating society regardless of levels on the path. The aspiration is for a consistent, celebratory, and profound community experience in which new and seasoned warriors are all practicing and in conversation together.  A brief introduction to the sadhana will be given and there will be time for questions and discussion.
