The Fearlessness in Everyday Life series mixes meditation with exploration of traditional Buddhist teachings of working with emotions. Through an exploration of the Buddhist teachings of emptiness and clear seeing, we will explore how  meditation can sustain a courageous investigation of  groundlessness, uncertainty and creativity of the world as we find it.

We will explore how as meditators, we can cultivate the  confidence to work skillfully with our strong emotions and to experience the every day courage of working directly with our fears with gentleness, kindness, compassion and insight.

Prerequisites:  Ideally, students have completed the Joy in Everyday Life class or at least one other class the In Everday Life series. The Way of Shambhala curriculum is designed to be taken in conjunction with Shambhala Training weekends. Shambhala Training Levels I-V are recommended but not required.

Our Generosity Policy

We have a generosity policy to make our offerings available to all who wish to participate. If the program price is an obstacle for you, we do have a “pay what you can” policy. Please consider what works for you, and offer as much of the program fee as you can. Setting up a payment plan for the full amount may also be an option to consider.

For those who can offer more than the program price, we have a “patron price”. Your generosity in offering the patron price helps cover the costs for others who are not able to pay the full price.
