Practitioners of all levels are invited to join in this week of meditation.  Participants may choose to attend the whole week, or join the retreat for a day or two. Beginners and seasoned meditators, as well as meditation practitioners of any silent tradition are all welcome.

Adapted from the month-long Shambhala dathun, a seven day retreat (or weekthun), is an opportunity for us to connect deeply with meditation while relating it directly with our regular life.

Instruction will be offered in meditation, compassion and contemplation practices. The week will include talks, optional meetings with meditation instructors, contemplative meals, yoga, and plenty of time to let your mind rest.  Noble silence will be practiced for the majority of the day.

Participants are invited to bring their lunch, or pick one up nearby during the lunch break.  We will eat together in the shrine room.

Full participation in the retreat satisfies the weekthun requirements for Shambhala assembly and guide programs.

The retreat will begin with an introductory session on Friday, February 15, 2018. Please arrive at 6:45 PM to register.

There will be special pricing for those who only attend a portion of the week. The standard daily price is $30 per day or $210 for the entire program. The Patron price is $40 per day or $275 for the entire program. The student price is $15 per day or $100 for the full program.

There will be no charge for persons wishing to attend ONLY the opening session on Friday, February 15.

Overnight accomodations can be arranged. Please contact [email protected] for additional information.
