    Room: Shrine Hall

Interested in the feminine principle in Buddhism?   Curious about the dakini?  Join Linda James and Lora Wiggins for a short, introductory study group to examine and discuss these powerful concepts.

The group will meet Sundays: September 8, 15 and 22 from 11:15 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. We will focus on excerpts from the first two chapters of Judith Simmer-Brown’s book, Dakini’s Warm Breath and some material from Karma Lekshe Tosmo’s Buddhist  Feminisms and Femininities.  You are encouraged to get the books, but we will be happy to provide readings for you via email as long as you are registered for the group.  Each class will start with sitting meditation.

This study group is open to everyone.  There are no prerequisites and no cost, but donations to the Center are greatly appreciated.
