Open to all, we meet the third Thursday of every month to discuss a  chapter in a selected book.

We are reading two new two books, both on Lojong practice:

    • The Practice of Lojong: Cultivating Compassion through Training the Mind, by Traleg Kyabgon
    • Training the Mind and Cultivating Compassion and Loving Kindness, by Chogyam Trungpa

We will be reading a chapter in each book and comparing the two approaches in our discussions.

Please email [email protected] if you are interested or want more information.  You are most welcome to join us at anytime in our discusssions. Our discussions will start in March and continue until we complete both books.

About our topic: Lojong has been practiced for many centuries by Indian and Tibetan Buddhists, who have employed this collection of pithy, penetrating Dharma slogans to develop compassion, equanimity, lovingkindness, and joy for others.
